I learned what life was really like in college. I lived at home but I learned that you must try hard and study hard if you want to get ahead. I have also learned that what I did in college still follows me today---20+ years later. So don't think because you are in a junior college it doesn't count, because it does. Still today on some job applications I have to put down my GPA and I have been in the work force for many, many years. Learn what you can and make the best of these years because its not going to get any easier.

I recieved a great education as far as how it relates to what I do on a daily basis. I make a good salary for a two year degree. I would soggest people talk to professionals that have been in their field for awhile. Ask about likes/dislikes, and "would you do the same thing again?". Also, check burn out statistics for chosen profession.
