I'm graduating with a bachelors in Women's Studies and minor in Psychology. The Psychology department is impacted and it was challenging to get the classes I needed or any attention from faculty. The Women's Studies program is amazing - challenging and mind-broadening. I learned far more than I imagined, not just about women but about marginalized populations around the world and throughout history.

If you are a working adult this is not the shcool for you. This is definately a straight out of high school kid geared college. There are no evening programs and the staff could care less if you have work making getting to early classes harder. With budget cuts there is almost no classes to choose from in the evening or weekends and even the internet courses are far less then most schools out there today. The staff is selfish and is more concerned with what they are getting then with how well they are teaching. Their teaching skills leave a lot to be desired and are worse then the community colleges I've been to. This is the thrid 4 year college I've attended and by far the worst. I would not recommend it to anyone and would not send my children there in the future.

“Spent six years here as an undergrad inAverageElectrical Engineering
Spent six years here as an undergrad in Electrical Engineering. The program itself is good and the professors are friendly and willing to help. I am currently doing my graduate work at Cal Poly Pomona and to be honest, I would much rather be back at Sac State. Coming to a Poly school with students from big named UCs, I was a bit intimidated as Sac State is not well known. However, I feel Sac State prepared me well. It's also up to the student to bust their ass. And if I may give a shameless plug, Sac State's Analog Electronics section is good times. Professor Tatro, Dahlquist, de Haas, Heedley, etc etc are great professors.
