I'm graduating with a bachelors in Women's StudiesNot so brightOther
I'm graduating with a bachelors in Women's Studies and minor in Psychology. The Psychology department is impacted and it was challenging to get the classes I needed or any attention from faculty. The Women's Studies program is amazing - challenging and mind-broadening. I learned far more than I imagined, not just about women but about marginalized populations around the world and throughout history.

Spent six years here as an undergrad inAverageElectrical Engineering
Spent six years here as an undergrad in Electrical Engineering. The program itself is good and the professors are friendly and willing to help. I am currently doing my graduate work at Cal Poly Pomona and to be honest, I would much rather be back at Sac State. Coming to a Poly school with students from big named UCs, I was a bit intimidated as Sac State is not well known. However, I feel Sac State prepared me well. It's also up to the student to bust their ass. And if I may give a shameless plug, Sac State's Analog Electronics section is good times. Professor Tatro, Dahlquist, de Haas, Heedley, etc etc are great professors.

Question
Overall, it was a great institution.Geography and Geosciences
Overall, it was a great institution. The faculty and the campus environment were great. I had few professors that used TA's in their classes, in fact, I can only think of one undergraduate course where their was even a TA present.

People tend to say it is a commuter campus just because most students live off campus, however, over 75% of students live within walking distance. It is by no means a commuter school, it doesnt even havea commuter school feel, people still go to class in their PJ's or look tore up from a night of drinking.

Athletics on campus are great, don't listen to anyone that says otherwise. If you go to the football and basketball games you're sure to have a great time, besides, the teams can use all the support they can get.Word to the wise if thinking on attending here, it is VERY disrespectful to wear another institutions colors or logo while on campus. I can't stress that enough, it's no different than spitting in your fellow students' faces, so I would advise you not to do it.
