I have hardly met anyone in my fieldGeography and Geosciences
I have hardly met anyone in my field that has ever even heard of Pomona College. Don't go to Pomona for the name recognition! On the other hand, I did get my first job (and I am still at the same company 18 years later) through a Pomona connection. Follow your heart, do your work and meet/talk to as many people as possible!

Question
As far as an overall college experience, oneQuite BrightPreMed and Medical
As far as an overall college experience, one cannot desire more than is offered at Pomona College. I am premed and a chem major and I honestly feel as though I could not get a better education in those fields anywhere else. The course work is very hard and the professors expect perfection, but it only ends in your benefit. Pomona does not bell curve and the anticipate the courses to be hard and thus curve the classes accordingly. As far as premed goes, we have one of the best acceptance rates to med school in the nation. And if you need a break from Pomona classes, you can always take a class at Claremont Mckenna College or Pitzer, where classes are considerably easier.

Question
Pomona College's financial aidBrightPublic Policy
Pomona College's financial aid is amazing, which makes it hard to turn down. The school also allows students to play a large role in the administration. Certainly, there is red tape. However, compared to other schools, it does a great job of giving students what they want.
