The University of California - Berkeley

Attending Berkeley was an awesome experience for me. The curriculum was definitely challenging in part because the classes were so huge (note: this is common for most public schools). I'd have to agree that Berkeley is famous for its research work hence SOME professors appear less than enthusiastic about teaching undergraduate students and are much more fond of doing research and spending time with grad students. But you see, that is part of the challenge. Creating the opportunity to talk to professors instead of TA's (whom by all means were mostly helpful) does take some work, determination and patience. And that's really part of the education, too. Not everything comes so easily in the real world. If you need help, you have to GO AND GET the help. As far as the outter appearance of the girls issue, I guess it's very subjective though the opportunity was more limited than some schools I've visited. I guess it sort of counts as the overall experience, but not a super important one for me. I met my girlfriend of 4 years at Berkeley and I think she's pretty hot.
