Paine college is aNot so brightPsychology
Paine college is a waste of money and time. Some of the staff is unprofessional, and are not trained well in their field of study. Also the staff changes ever year. I cant believe they are acredited. The campus is well, ugly. A plus is some of the teachers, greek life, and meeting new people.

Question
I have never experienced anything like this University.BrightEducation
I have never experienced anything like this University. The administration, ie: financial aid and business office are some of the most unprofessional human beings I have ever met. And it only goes downhill from there. I feel that if you want to be taken seriously in the work force you would have more success coming from a different school.

Question
They give Historically Black Colleges and Universities aNot so bright
They give Historically Black Colleges and Universities a bad name. I went to this school after I relocated here from MS after Hurricane Katrina. I was very disappointed and the staff was very rude and nasty. They do not give any help to you if you are a non traditional student. I felt like they wanted working adults to jump through hoops to attend their college.

The financial aid department is horrible to deal with and they don't answer any questions on the phone or in person. My instructors were the only shinning light in an otherwise bleek and dark situation. I dealt with as much as I could take and then I had to withdraw and find another school. What's funny is when I went to withdraw that's when I got treated the best, they sent me to a retention specialist and tried to convince me not to leave, by that time the damage was done. I was ready to leave. I will say that I did learn something from the classes I took, but as far as getting a degree from Paine I would not advise anyone to do that. As a mixed race person, I really did want to continue my eduation there, because of the historical significance of the institution, but the staff act like the students owed them, instead of trying to educate us and treat us fairly.
