I'm so glad I picked DePaul as myBrightVideo/Media
I'm so glad I picked DePaul as my second home abroad. Being an international aint easy, you get to struggle with the cultural shock as well as language barrier. But somehow I feel DePaul makes the challenge less tough. DePaul has really good professors that concern about their students. I can't comment much on the student quality here tho...y'know how young people are like, but most of the professors here at DePaul are extremely good at showing you the world in a way that won't make you uncomfortable. Most of the professors I've had are brilliant and kind-hearted, yet strict somehow. One thing tho, depaul hires the suckiest adertising profs ever. They're either too old-fashioned nor no creativity at all. So don't come if your major is advertising. Stay away from depaul! Otherwise, DePaul has many great sides that would change your life somehow.

Question
I came to DePaul hoping for a greatNot so brightUndecided
I came to DePaul hoping for a great college experience. It would be a lie to say I did. The people are rude and exclusive, most come from the same cliques in the same high schools and they stick together. Tuition is also a big joke considering the food is disgusting and all you are really paying for is their church. Being close to the city is great, but I am transferring next year to a school that isn't a huge joke to everyone in Chicago.

Question
Choosing DePaul has been the worst choice ofEconomics
Choosing DePaul has been the worst choice of my life and I will forever regret it. The professors in my major have been uptight and arrogant especially in the Economics department (others vary). In terms of campus life, it is the worst school in the U.S. No spirit can be found here. The most active thing going on on campus is FEST which only happens once a year. Otherwise, most students infiltrate the Lincoln Park frat bars or Wrigleyville. Also, this school calls itself diverse but being diverse does not apply only to one's gender or race. It also applies to demographics. You'll find an overabundance of suburban kids here and not enough out-of-staters. The only possible excuse for attending this University is either for it's Theatre program or Accounting Program. Everything else you can get just as good or better programs elsewhere. Do not be fooled by the University's marketing tactics. PLEASE...I beg whoever is reading this do not apply or even take interest in this University.
