Its very good school.BrightSchool of Information
Its very good school. Classes are small, professors are knowledgeable, approachable and decently up to date. On average it is no problem to meet with a professor and get help on homework.

School facilities are modern and up to date. Some classrooms are even video recorded which makes learning at home very easy.

One bed side of the school is Greek life. Fraternities are not so great, especially Pikes. Beware. Many of these guys are NOT NICE to EVERYBODY. They have no soul (an essence of humanity)! Better look at other fraternities at DePaul if you want to be a part of the Greek life.

I may be wrong but I know that Pikes were once suspended before they became the charter for illegal use of alcohol. Most likely it happened because they were rude to one or more people and somebody resented, found some dirt on them and so reported them to school officials. If you want to get involved in extracurricular activities it's best idea to join clubs or organizations that suit your interest. If you want to make some difference in DePaul join Student Government Association or DePaul Activities Board.

I have enjoyed each and every minute of going to this university. Yes, it may technically be a commuter university but if you live in the dorms your first year and meet great people you will love it. CHICAGO is the best city in the US and the music scene in abundant. Tons of girls here too. School is pretty hard. Thats the end

Question
Coming into this school as a junior transferQuite BrightPolitical Science
Coming into this school as a junior transfer student was a BAD IDEA. I started school at SIU (easy classes and great social life). I wanted however a more challenging education without giving up the social life I had though. Depaul "promised" these things to me and seemed like the prefect fit.

BOY WAS I WRONG....
By the third week into school I found that students for the most part kept to thier cliques and commuted home on the weekend. The classes were alright, but nothing special like I had hoped for. Coming from a party school I was hoping to find some sort of healthy middle between school and social life. DEPAUL DOES NOT HAVE THIS. I recently tried to transfer, but almost being a senior now has its limitations because most school require a set amount of hours at their university. I wish I would have looked into sites like this more often to warn me ahead of time. Now if your a student that is not looking for that "college experience" and want just a education this might be a school for you. Otherwise good luck.
