Imagine this: In the summertime you walk 8 blocks and you have the lake, a bike path, running path and numerous parks. Then you walk two blocks and you have Lincoln Park Zoo. DePaul is immersed in a pool of the best restaurants, bars, clubs, stores, and theatres. There is about a 2 mile strip full of stores. If you can't find anything within the city, jump on a train which is only 2 blocks away from campus and head downtown. Only a 20 minute ride. The neighborhood is brilliantly lit with color throughout every season. The people are friendly and the faculty is helpful in every way. Also, because it is a private catholic school, the church is located 2 blocks away. There is an athletic center right across where you can take dancing, boxing or simply exercise. And before I forget, there is also a loop campus which is located downtown Chicago. I have had a blast at DePaul. I never find myself bored because there is always somewhere to go or someone to hang out with.

DePaul is an excellent school to attend if you are not fromQuite Bright
DePaul is an excellent school to attend if you are not from Chicago. There are numerous attractions, such as the lake, great restaurants, shopping centers, museums, theatres and located in one of the most prestigious neighborhoods.

In reality, you can have a lot of fun because of the surroundings. However, the campus life and social scene is calm. Unlike other party schools, DePaul is a great school to attend if you are serious about your education. Students are always studying, or involved in a particular activity. I highly recommend DePaul if you plan on majoring in Business and Law.
