Masters Entry to Nursing Practice (MENP)
This program is a complete DISASTER. This is a program where some faculty members help their favorite students behind closed doors on their quizzes and exams. There are too much preferential treatments. This is a program clinical instructors are sometimes specifically instructed to find a way to fail students they don't like on clinical in order to dismiss them from the program. I think DePaul SON has to go through professional ethics overhaul. The program needs sincere, truthful, and trustworthy director. There are too much gimmicks and games. Do your homework and make sure that DePaul Masters Entry to Nursing Practice (MENP)is actually for you. This is the worst school I have ever attended.

I transferred to this school after a terrible first experience at another university. DePaul is an incredible university. The students are very diverse and it is common to hear many languages outside of your own on a daily basis. The school does push for multiculturalism during the sophomore seminar, which I really enjoyed! The school gives you a CTA pass which means you get unlimited rides on the EL or buses, etc. It only takes 15-20 minutes to get downtown from the Lincoln Park campus. It is amazing having a city like Chicago at your fingertips. It's a world class city with a lot to offer. There's no place i'd rather be than DePaul!

I'm lucky enough to be a member of The Theatre School. It's a wonderful place to study with professionals that are working in Chicago and NY. The University itself is pretty cool too. Small classes and focus on your actual education. School Spirit is kind of pitiful but I mean that would change if the basketball team started winning again. Overall really positive experience thus far.
