Tulane is a great place, one of unparalleledSuper Brilliant
Tulane is a great place, one of unparalleled sociability and academics. Do not come to Tulane if you cannot handle a life where you go out 6 nights a week, do not go to a life if you cannot handle a life involving alcohol and drugs, do not go to Tulane if you cannot handle loud dorms. The life that Tulane kids live can be envied by celebrities, and if you do not believe you can handle a fastpaced (but also extremely relaxed) extremely social environment, than you need to choose another school. But if you believe yourself to be a socialite and scholar, Tulane is the place for you. Life at Tulane centers around Bars and Fraternities, not one or the other. To have a good time at Tulane, you do need to have money, because like I said, its both a bar and fraternity scene, and if you don't join a fraternity freshman year, it is solely a bar scene. You will have the best time of your life, a truly memorable 4 years with no regrets except the nights you drank to much. There's harvard, yale, and stanford, but none of them compare to tulane.

Deciding to go to Tulane was the best decision I have everNot so brightArchaeology
Deciding to go to Tulane was the best decision I have ever made in my entire life. I have met my best friends and the most fun and interesting people I know. Social life is huge at Tulane; it can take up a lot of time...sometimes you may feel like it's more important than your studies. However, finding a good balance is possible. It is easy to take classes that work around you going out at night, but it is also just as easy to take a challenging coarse load and really get the most out of your college experience. The scenery is magnificent. Uptown New Orleans is full of old mansions and the university is directly across the street from lucious Audobon Park which also has a zoo! Off campus housing is not expensive and most people leave dorms after freshman year. The experience is like no other, New Orleans is the most unique city in the country, and by far the best place for college students. The greek community is large, but its not necessary to be a part of. The main objective among students is to have a good time. Mostly everyone is happy. The weather is beautiful (although it does rain a lot, especially in the spring), the nature and the historic architecture make the experience ascetically pleasing. I love tulane and since the hurricane I have never wanted to go back somewhere more in my life. GO TO TULANE

Tulane was a wonderful experience for me andEnglish
Tulane was a wonderful experience for me and it is completely what you make it. The faculty at this university are unparalleled in my opinion compared to most other universities--they are informative, intelligent and caring. I would completely recommend Tulane to high school students, and as far as the current students--I hope that Katrina doesn't cause irreprable damage and that you can all return to your homes soon!
