If someone ever asks me the most intelligentQuite BrightPolitical Science
If someone ever asks me the most intelligent decision I've ever made in my life, the answer will be applying to tulane university. The amount of fun I have is nearly unfathomable. There is some place to go, some party, nightlife, every night...even Sundays. Every oppurtunity is provided for you...from helpful, approachable, and Interested faculty, to extracurriculars, to fun bars, to greek life, to one of the best cities in the US. I honestly think this is the school for ANYONE who can get over the whole "being a plane ride home" thing. I have met incredible, very intelligent, very fun people. It seems that everyone wants to balance doing work/going to class and partying enough to brag to your friends from home :) Tulane is a dream school.

Question
A lot of students here do not seemQuite BrightPolitical Science
A lot of students here do not seem to live up to any sort of academic standards. However I must say the excellent, involved, and personable faculty is what keeps this place going. About 70% of the students here are rich, snooty, frat-chasers who relish in daddy's credit card and binge drinking. However the few people you do find worthy of your time, will be life-long friends.Plus, New Orleans is one exciting city.

Question
I appreciate Tulane very much now that ILanguage - French/Spanish/etc.
I appreciate Tulane very much now that I am going to law school. I will begin school at the University of Virginia law school this fall, though I was accepted at several top ten schools. Tulane has an excellent variety of students -- I met people from all over the world with every kind of political or religious affiliation and the experience was invaluable for me. I also participated in Tulane's excellent Junior Year Abroad program, which is one of the oldest and best in the nation. The large research university setting, as well as studying abroad, forced me to be a strong and resourceful person. I was, incidentally, better prepared academically for graduate school (I completed an MA in 2000) than many of my peers from even more prestigious schools.
