Didn't like the school for a second! FirstQuite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
Didn't like the school for a second! First of all the size is so small. There are roughly 1600 undergrads. The professors give work like there is no end to it and our average grade point average is below a 3! Go tell that to a graduate school...

The academics are barely average. The FME is a total joke. Selling little nonsense items is not what you should waste your time doing if you want to become that entrepreneur that Babson claims you will become.

Babson is good for entreprenurship they might be #1 but all their other departments are average or below. I was horribly dissatisfied by the lack of a liberal arts education. I felt as if business was my only goal in life and my education in other areas was severley insufficient. I've come to learn that this hurts big time in the business world.

The social life is terrible. There are a bunch of wealthy internationals who think they are god's given grace and complain that the workload is causing them to suffer. If you want to meet girls forget it. Guys outnumber the girls by a 60-40 ratio and remember there are only 1600 kids.Boston is only 20 minutes away and if you have a car you can go in and out but if you plan on doing sutff around Babson your also out of luck. There is nothing to do.

Question
The entrepreneurial opportunities here are numerous and incrBrightBusiness - Management and Administration
The entrepreneurial opportunities here are numerous and incredible.
The workload is not as bad as it seems, you may not get an A, but you won't get an F.
If you want to drink and party every night there are definetly people to have a good time with.
For the average, partying on weekdays doesn't happen, but on weekends the campus is pretty alive.
No this is not the playboy mansion, but the girl situation here is not as bad as its made out.
The social life rating on this site is only accurate if you choose to not have a good time...little farries aren't going to come into your room and magical fly you into a world of naked women and and cold beers- it is what you make of it and i have found no trouble having a good time when i have chosen too

Babson is a serious business school, not a state liberal arts college
Overall, if you are an easy going person who wants to become and serious business person and likes to let loose and have a good time on the weekends, yet also wants to prepare oneself for the future, learn alot, and take advantage of incredible opportunities during the week...then Babson is a good choice for you.

Question
I hate to tell you but I don’tSuper BrilliantBusiness - Management and Administration
I hate to tell you but I don’t think this place is all that it is cracked out to be. Babson has a tremendous marketing and PR department that makes the school look great, but in actuality it is not up to par with its reputation. It has been said over and over again that Babson offers the number one undergraduate and graduate entrepreneurial program in the world. However I feel like am being bread to sit in a cubical all day. Granted I have learned far more than any of my friends at other schools in business programs. I have acquired a tremendous wealth of first hand knowledge and have certainly got my hands dirty. the entrepreneurial spirit is very much alive here, but it does not seem like the administration knows how to foster and promote it. I have found the curriculum to be to structured and tiresome. A one dimensional student who has learned how to rip apart a financial statement but has not filled his head with any sort of worthwhile liberal arts will fail in the business world. I feel students here are deprived of an interesting education. If you can live your life in a way that enables you to forgo intellectual stimulation than Babson will be ok for you. If you suck it up for the four years I guess it will be worth your while, judging by what everyone says. But I will tell you one thing I am OUT OF HERE!
