Holy Cross is an excellent school across theBiology
Holy Cross is an excellent school across the board. The professors are adept at providing a rigorous and challenging education and maintain a supportive, friendly learning environment. The campus is beautiful, and there are plenty of on-campus activities in which most students (but not all) participate. The spiritual life on campus is active but not at all overbearing. Students are generally polite, interesting, dedicated people. Many alumni, myself included, maintain close relationships with their peers and professors from the school. Holy Cross helped me become a stronger, more compassionate, more insightful person while improving my academic and intellectual ability. I would recommend that both high school and college students take advantage of any extracurriculars offered to them that may overlap with their interests or abilities. After five years out of college, I rarely think fondly about weekend parties, but I can still recount great conversations with friends and professors, cool trips, and eye-opening service projects with a smile.

Question
I could not be happier than I amSuper BrilliantEnglish
I could not be happier than I am at Holy Cross. Holy Cross is the ideal place if you are a friendly, outgoing person who is willing to give back to your community...and to work very, very hard.

I am now a sophomore and can honestly say that I have liked all of my professors. Every professor I have had has been MORE than helpful not only with course work but also with general academic advice. The professors are approachable and WILL remember your name after the semester is over. I have never felt isolated or scared while at Holy Cross because of its strong support system and close community.

The religious aspect of Holy Cross is also unique, being that it is a Catholic, Jesuit college. If you are not religious, do not worry... you will NOT be ostracized at all! If you are religious though, Holy Cross certainly provides many spiritual programs, retreats, etc...and, I have to confess, it is nice to be able to go to mass right on campus with a group of friends. Basically...the classes are small, the professors are interesting, the people are friendly, the campus is beautiful, and the work load is challenging. Yes, Holy Cross is the perfect place!

Question
I loved my 4 years at Holy Cross.Political Science
I loved my 4 years at Holy Cross. The bonds I made with my classmates and some faculty are long-lasting. At the time (87-91), the administration was too conservative for my liking. Great progress has been made in this area. I am happy to report that HC is a progressive and open-minded institution in many ways. Moreover, their brand of small liberal arts education is, in my estimation, far superior that the education offered at many of the nation's most elite universities.
