MIT is the place to go if youQuite BrightMath
MIT is the place to go if you want to be surrounded by intelligence. The faculty are amazing, and your fellow students will give you a run for your money no matter how smoothly you coasted through high school. In high school, you were in five clubs, a varsity sport, student govenment, and honors classes. At MIT, you will actually be forced to make choices about what you want to do with yourself and your time. You will be challenged to be the best you can be, to manage your time, to find meaning in the work you choose to do. If you want to coast through college with B's and still make the honor roll, go to Harvard. If you want the ride of your life that will prepare you to tackle anything, come to MIT.

The work is hard.BrightPreMed and Medical
The work is hard. Don't expect to coast on previous accomplishments--coming here is a humbling experience. At the same time, I've never learned so much (about academics, life, and myself) before. Be prepared to work harder than you ever have in your life--it's worth it.
