Music - Performance
Not all singers get to be rich and famous. There are lots of good singers out there....

Question
Education was good, though there was a disconnectMusic - Composition/Theory
Education was good, though there was a disconnect between it and how the music industry actually works. It took me six years after graduation to get a job in my field. Only go here if you are self-motivated and extremely hard-working. I recommend taking additional classes elsewhere in subjects such as writing or music business. There are lean years ahead for nearly all NEC graduates.

Question
I did not attend the Conservatory itself, butMusic - Performance
I did not attend the Conservatory itself, but rather the Preparatory School. However, from that, I have attained a good idea of the school's programs and campus aesthetics. The buildings are fairly old and somewhat unrenovated, with the exception of the concert hall, Jordan Hall. The dormitory was erected in the 1950s and houses an extensive library. Faculty do seem helpful, and the college does have good practice space.
