Loyola is absolutely aQuite BrightFinance
Loyola is absolutely a school that takes some getting used to. I couldn't accept the 'bar school' social life at first, but eventually I slipped into it and really enjoyed myself. Highly recommend.

Question
Loyola CollegeQuite BrightPolitical Science
Loyola College preaches diversity and acceptance, but that is far from the truth. The student body is completely homogeneous. I sometimes have difficulty finding an actual individual here. If you want something to do on the weekend you better have a fake id, and little self respect. Oh, and a heaping wad of cash wouldn't be a bad idea. There is absolutely no parties on campus, everyone goes to the bars on York Rd and other 'attractive' areas. You have to pay for a cab to and from the bar, and I have heard of people dropping 50 bucks in one night just on beer. If youre not from an upperclass family from Long Island you probably will have a hard time feeling at home here. Most students come from the same high schools so clicks are already made. Although people are friendly, if you dont fit into their mold (specifically girls) you won't be having the time of your life. Narcissism is key here. Its an absolute shame because the faculty is amazing. Professors here are truly amazing and the academics offer more than you could ask for, but I feel its a shame because many students don't bother to take it in. They do what it takes to get by without actually learning anything. There are people stumbling in from a bar every day of the week. If you aren't into the bar scene DO NOT come here, you will not have much of a social life. I am transferring and could not be more excited to leave.

Question
Loyola is truly one of the greatest placesNot so brightBusiness - Management and Administration
Loyola is truly one of the greatest places on earth. When ever i talk to friends about how they like their colleges, they always have some negative comment to make. I never do. Loyola is pretty much perfect. It is frat-less, which might seem bad to some people, but if you just make friends with someone who has a house, or on a sports team, you will have plenty of chances to go to those "college house parties" everyone always raves about. Most things you ahve heard about Loyola (snooty, uptight, arrogant) are totally untrue. Most everyone is friendly. Know that a degree from Loyola, not only means a good foundation for life, it means you will have some amazing friends for life.
