Loyola's mindset is that you have to beQuite BrightLanguage - French/Spanish/etc.
Loyola's mindset is that you have to be seen out on York Rd. or at Fell's Point to be ANYbody. THAT SUCKS. I used to be into parties (which there aren't too many of) and going to the clubs, but for whatever reason, it's not my scene anymore, and because of that, my social life suffers. There is NO diversity. Everywhere you look there's Abercrombie, JCrew, and Vera Bradley, and everyone's hair is highlighted. I'm just getting really sick of it and its making me hate college. I guess I just expected more. Maybe it's just me. Also...the money is not worth it...I've had some good times here, but I've become very discouraged and disappointed in many things here.

It was a very hard decision deciding what school to go to, however I definately made the right decision!! Going to Loyola has turned out even better than I expected! Even though most people are rich, white, and from private school, everyone is friendly and approachable. The campus is really pretty with great dorms and food. Loyola is a small enough school that you get individual attention in and out of the classroom. There are no frats or sororities (which makes the social scene better) - usually students have smaller parties in the on-campus apartments/suits or hang out at the clubs/bars in Baltimore. It is always a great time at Loyola, however, the classes are also challenging. Usually people look at Loyola if they are interested in Villanova, Fairfield, and BC.

Question
DO you enjoy spending your Daddy's money onQuite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
DO you enjoy spending your Daddy's money on drinks at the bar every time you want to have fun? THis is the place for you....Miss the comfort of your clique from your posh, private, catholic high school, this is definitely the place for you. Hoping to quash the creative and liberal spirit within? YOU HAVE A WINNER. I spent two and a half years at Loyola which I can safely say were the worst years of my life. Making friends was hard because half the class already knew eachother from high school. Everyone is so pretty and concerned with their image that they could care less about education. If you are good looking and willing to sell out your soul and conscience you will fit in perfectly. Here is a fun thing to do, watch as the student body slowly melts into one person, and you can bet your A$$ that that person has an Abercrombie and Fitch shirt on and is probably at Fell's point or york road. I beg you, if you were not popular in high school or you have a shred of self worth or are even slightly introverted, do not go here. The emotional turmoil of the lifestyle and student body will work on you until you are ready to transfer or end it all.
