My experience at K-College so far has beenQuite BrightBiology
My experience at K-College so far has been wonderful. The faculty have been extremely helpful and I feel that they truly want to see me succeed. The people here are very friendly. My first year here I was actually shocked at how nice the people were. Coming from my snotty high school, I thought it was some sort of alternate universe. The classes are very challenging--no "blow offs" here. And I am surrounded by other students who care about their education, but I never feel as if my classmates and I are competing. Everyone is very helpful. In terms of social life, I was lucky to be a part of the volleyball team. It has made things here tons of fun, but I wouldn't classify this place as a "party school." Sure, you have your parties on the weekends but not every night (not unless you want to fail out fast). My best experience here thus far has been the opportunity to study abroad in France. I had an amazing time and learned so much more than I could have learned in a traditional classroom. Wonderful memories. So yeah, I love this place (the campus is gorgeous!) and the people are great. I have not second-guessed my decision to come to K-College even for a moment.

Question
Kalamazoo College promotes individuality and self-exploratioQuite BrightPsychology
Kalamazoo College promotes individuality and self-exploration. Its faculty join the college for the purpose of having access to students and they provide tremendous guidance and encouragement. It is incredibly easy to get involved in campus organizations, and you feel as though you make a difference when you are there. The study abroad opportunities are absolutely unbelievable, and that shows in the student body and the many different experiences we all have and share with each other.I am very grateful that I was able to experience such an amazing institution.

Question
The college is small and therefore there areQuite BrightPolitical Science
The college is small and therefore there are a limited amount of opinons, unfortunately the majority of students choose to take a stance that is very close-minded and often under-educated. Though there are some students who truly appreciate the value of a good, enlightening argument, most classmates simply seek to impress their views upon their fellow students without taking the opposing viewpoint into consideration whatsoever. There are certain militant groups that make the campus uncomfortable from time to time along with the ever-influenced faculty and staff who more often than not choose to subscribe to the inevitable rumors and falsehoods that surface from the student body. Perhaps these are the dangers of a small school, but the liberalism and diversity that Kalamazoo preaches is far from the truth.
