Positive Negative Neutral Advice
SMSU is a bad choice for anyone interestedFinance
SMSU is a bad choice for anyone interested in employment outside of Springfield, MO. This is especially true if the student intends on seeking employment in the Kansas City or St. Louis markets upon graduation. Preference is given to KU and MU graduates in this market, and the students decision ot attend SMSU may be viewed as a character flaw to some employers.

Furthermore, on campus recruiting is extremely weak. Most of the major employers recruit heavily at MU or KU but do not spend much time at SMSU.

Question
The campus is beautiful, even though it getsBrightSocial Work
The campus is beautiful, even though it gets a lot of water when it rains. The people are generally friendly. Most of the teachers are very knowledgable and are there to help you. I really enjoy going to this university. Although I am sick of school work (almost done with my third year), I am going to miss the people and the atmosphere when I'm gone.

Question
At the time, I felt the professors wereEducation
At the time, I felt the professors were too moved from the elementary classroom setting to give good advice about teaching. High school students need to select a major that will provide them with immediate employment. Teaching careers do not always have openings. Many employment opportunities are based on other factors and not on how well a college student did in grades.
