I really enjoyed NCSU and am glad IQuite BrightCommunications
I really enjoyed NCSU and am glad I went there. I still live near by and know a lot of current students there, and see that the school continues to improve with time. The students are mostly friendly (any time you get 30,000+ people together, there are going to be some annoying/rude ones). The teachers were almost all of excellent quality. Many of my adjunct instructors also taught at Duke and UNC-Chapel Hill so I knew I was getting the same course my peers in those institutions were getting. If I had it to do over again, the only changes I would make would be with myself -- I would be less shy and get out there more and experience more of the great things NCSU has to offer.

The ECE program is great but challenging.BrightComputer Engineering
The ECE program is great but challenging. There are many opportunities for working with people in classes. The school is big but this allows you to do many things with a lot of different kinds of people. The food there is okay but there are many different places to eat whatever you fancy. I enjoy my time here and can get the help when needed from all the different resources on campus.

Question
NC State is a HUGE school, and thatQuite BrightAerospace Engineering
NC State is a HUGE school, and that is the defining factor. On the negative side, being such a large school means that it is overwhelming at first, especially for someone like me from a small town. Also, it may feel at times like you are just a number. However, being such a big school allows for NC State to have a large number of activities and extracurriculars, and also a large number of majors. It has over 100 majors, so you're sure to be able to study what you want, and try out anything you might be interested in. Get involved and just try it! NC State has so many things to try, it would be a waste of both time and money to not step out of your comfort zone while you're here.
