What is best about Marist College is theQuite BrightPsychology
What is best about Marist College is the faculty. They have great availability and are extremely approachable. This allows a student to have a huge number of opportunities that would not be available at a larger school with a larger graduate program. Excellent place for undergraduate education, and the liberal arts aspect is awesome. Being able to take a bit of everything has been very fun and I feel as though I have a large base of knowledge rather than simply being specialized in only one area.

After getting weight-listed from almost every school IQuite BrightBiology
After getting weight-listed from almost every school I applied to, I decided to go to Marist - empty of any excitement. After spending a few days on campus, I absolutely fell in love and have been in love ever since. The people are great! Of course, you are going to find some snooty, uptight kids (like you will at any school), but there is a niche here for everyone. I found myself a wonderful group of down-to-earth people just like me. Extra-curricular activities are a MUST on campus because that is where you will meet people like you... and there is so much to choose from you will have a hard time just picking a few. There is something for everyone on campus, whether it is day or nighttime activities. Every semester since I have been here, the college has continued to make improvements according to student suggestions. Your classes are on the smaller side (30ish people, sometimes less) so your professors really get to know you (I guess some people can see this as a bad thing). If you are looking for a college experience where you intend to be proactive in getting involved both academically and socially, then you will thrive at Marist.

Question
I absolutely love this school.Quite BrightEducation
I absolutely love this school. The campus is beautiful and the professors and the people are friendly and encouraging. Most of the students are very driven and believe that their school work is important, but at the same time the night life is great and everyone loves to go out and have fun. There is somewhat of a lack of diversity on the campus, but personally, I have noticed an increase in diversity on campus from last year to this year. Sports are not huge, but if you attend the games and matches it is a lot of fun. Just about every professor I have had thus far has gotten to know me and my classmates personally, and if you take advantage of them, they are truly great resources.
