Positive Negative Neutral Advice
Staff at this school could absolutely care lessBrightHistory/Histories (art history/etc.)
Staff at this school could absolutely care less about you. Good luck getting anything you need from the Student Response Center because they are completely unhelpful and to be frank, useless. Professors here are extremely condescending and downright lazy. In fact, I'm still waiting for one of my professors to post my grade almost three weeks after the semester ended. My hall was extremely quiet with most people desiring to keep to themselves. Luckily the ones who didn't want to live that way, I became great friends with. The food is so terrible, both nutritionally and taste-wise. The city of Buffalo itself is a rust belt city...that's all that needs to be said. Go to Toronto an hour and a half away. That's a real city. I would stay away from UB at all costs. It is not worth the time, money, nor the misery via weather from October to April.

The teachers cannot teach. Engineering prof expect you to magically come up with answers without doing in class examples or at least post some examples online. They go on and on about random crap and they have no beginning and no end. the kids are freaking annoying and rude especially the new york city natives. the only thing i like about this place is the animals i see near the lake. the clubs are stuck up. there are too many foreigners with uppity attitudes and smell terrible i wish they would leave. i shouldve left when i had the chance.

Question
This school is known for its graduate/professional programs.BrightPharmacy
This school is known for its graduate/professional programs. They don't give a damn about their undergrad students. Being a pre-pharmacy major at a science research school you wouldnt think that they would only have 1 class that seats 300 when 3000 need to take it. The advisors are unapproachable and don't know what they're talking about half of the time. Partying at south campus is alright if youre into sweaty frat basements or overcrowded college bars. You have to take the subway to get downtown and then $30 to get back. They do have endless amounts of extracurriculars however, so for that UB can have an A (which is something they hate giving their students). Oh and you might as well just pick up UB and throw it somewhere in the middle of Asia, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
