No regrets going toOther
No regrets going to SUNY Buffalo. Didn't like the city at all and couldn't wait to get out -- but the graduate program I was in made up for it. Now that I'm in the field, I noticed that I have an edge over my colleagues because of the high quality of the program.

I was a little nervous about going toQuite BrightPsychology
I was a little nervous about going to a huge university, but once i was here for my first year as a transfer student... i was in love with the university and the city. The school offers us soo much in terms of education and experience, the only bad thing is you have to take everything thats thrown at you and take advantage of that and to not sit back and drink.

Question
Engineering graduates from private colleges, considered moreQuite BrightCivil Engineering
Engineering graduates from private colleges, considered more elite than UB do not appear to have aquired an equally more elite engineering education. Comparing notes with Ivy league students at conferences and job fairs, I find that the course work, difficulty, faculty expectations of excellent scholarship, and curriculum are extremely similar to what I encountered at UB. The professors in the Environmental Engineering Dept. go out of their way to make the course material accessible and also to make office hours convenient to students. I am very proud to be a graduate of this university.
