Binghamton is literally awesome.AveragePolitical Science
Binghamton is literally awesome. I have decided that it would be important to leave a review just because when I decided I was coming here the only thing that discouraged me was this website. It is important to note that each college may fit one person but not the next person.

Binghamton is extremely challenging. I had a very hard time adjusting academic wise and you can't expect to just get by in most classes otherwise you will fail. The library is packed during finals week and you have to get here at 11am. This shows the dedication and competition within the student body. The teachers are a toss-up. Sometimes they can be helpful other times they can't be more absent than they are. Going from top of my class to just average was a wake up call.

Binghamton's social life is actually so much fun. You have to be a loser that locks himself in his room everyday to not have friends. Even if you don't drink, there are so many activities like latenight and movies, bowling etc. If you do drink, there are frat parties almost every night, along with the bars being a joke to get into.

Binghamton's city is eh. Not much to do, barely any shopping areas. They do have movies and good places to eat however. Restaurant week is my favorite time to eat in Binghamton. Cheap good food.

Sodexo, our school's campus food, is not that bad compared to other schools. It does get tiring and redundant however.

Greek Life is really growing in this school and if you sincerely can't make friends, I would recommend joining a fraternity or sorority. There are so many other clubs too, for anything you can possibly be interested in. Role Play, Man Hunt, Scrabble, Pipe Dream, the school newspaper are just some of the clubs and there is so much more.

You have to learn to search what you want to do and go and get it with doing many things in Binghamton, such as finding friends, joining groups and clubs. That drive is what is going to help you make it in the real life, therefore, I think its actually helpful to have our campus that way.

The weather sucks during the brutal winter months but its bearable, and the good weather in the beginning of the fall semester and the end of spring semester makes up for it. I love Binghamton and once again please note that each school works for some people and doesn't work for others.

Question
I will be attendingPhilosophy
I will be attending law school in fall 2011, and have received multiple scholarships from very highly ranked schools. Academically, Binghamton is what you make it. But I don't give it much credit for my personal successes.

Question
I chose Binghamton because of the price, notBrightBusiness - Management and Administration
I chose Binghamton because of the price, not expecting to have a great "college" atmosphere. I was wrong. Students are friendly, and there are so many ways to get involved outside of academics, almost every person is part of some student group/job/greek org. Im in the school of management, which is now ranked higher than most schools i was applying to that are 3x the price. Students work together rather than a cut-throat environment I know exist in some ivy's. Overall, excellent school, could not/would not want to be anywhere else!
