Ive been here 2 years and this placeSuper BrilliantBiology
Ive been here 2 years and this place is horrible. The only thing that possesed me to go here was the price, ... but i assure you it is not worth it. Work hard, get good grades and get out to a good/great grad school. If you are looking for the 4 best years of your life, i beg you consider other options. The campus is pretty ugly, and the atmosphere is one of constant meloncholy. No one seems happy and yes, this is binghamton, there is nothing to do. On another note, if you plan to come here and transfer out, you can get into virtually any school... NYU, penn, UCHI, darmouth from here. Im a happy person and this is a miserable place... most ppl here feel the same.

Question
Those of you reading these comments should notPreLaw and Legal
Those of you reading these comments should not be turned off to Bing because of the negative comments. Is Bing the best school in the world? Of course not. But it is a good school and you can easily have a very enjoyable college experience there. I and many of my friends did. The problem -- and the reason for many of these negative comments -- is that many people are college-snobs and/or still feeling bad that they could not afford a private college. Many complain about being in Binghamton and say there is nothing to do. What do college kids do? Bars, restaurants, movie theaters -- this is what kids do and the Binghamton area has them! How many of you going to NYU or Columbia actually go to museums or Broadway shows? Give me a break. You know these boards attract those who are unhappy, more so than those who are happy. It is human nature. Binghamton is a great value. Don't go there with a closed mind, thinking you will hate it. There are all kinds of people there and as in all college situations, once you find your niche, you will enjoy it and be happy. I am proud to have gone to Bing and it is a much more enjoyable memory for me than my graduate years at an Ivy league school.

It was a large cheap ugly utilitarian place to get a degree. It is cold. Cold place. Cold climate. cold buildings cold faculty cold administration. No warmth no fun everybody hates being there. Adminstration trying to get out. Faculty hate it and the students. Students hate the place. There is a cloud over the place. Got what I went for. No debt and one degree and out of there aqap.
