b. Private schools support their students better?
c. Private schools have more to loose if their students drop out?
d. Socio-economic factors favor private school students?
e. Public schools are huge uncaring bureaucracies?
f. Public schools answer to their states legislature not the students or parents?
g. All of the above?
h. Who cares?

My time at Ohio State prepared me for what I do in the sense that it made me very knowledgable in my field of study. However, if you want to be a teacher, do not go to Ohio State. You will have to go directly to graduate school just to be certified to teach. Ohio State was and is a great school, just not for those of you that want to be teachers.
