The Ohio State University is a great schoolQuite BrightChemistry
The Ohio State University is a great school to go to as long as you take out the Mathematics department. The mathematics department at Ohio State has to be the worst in the state in the aspect that the test usually has no comparison to the class work. Also the math department has decided to amp up the difficulty of the test while keeping the time frame the same. The campus is beautiful the teachers are friendly (outside of the math department) and the people you meet are incredible. All in all a great University to attend just prepare to take math at another University because you do not want to take it here, I may sound very critical of math, this is not due to the fact that I am inadequate at the subject though. Growing up I was top 5 in math every year and received a 33 on my math for ACT while testing into Ohio States accelerated math testing extremely well. With all that in mind the math department here is still an absolute joke.

Question
I hate Ohio state.Super BrilliantChemical Engineering
I hate Ohio state. i am not social, and i went to the school because they had the highest "rating" for undergrads in chemical engineering. it now seems that the only reason they have good ratings is because they attract already bright students to come, and they are restrictive as to who can join. All i do is busy work, i could learn more reading a textbook, and the grades for my engineering class reflect my ability to format my work, and often ignore the actual content. If you are a smart student, or if you excelled easily in high school, going to Ohio State will not be fun. unless you want to get wasted for free every weekend and be part of the drunk zombie mob.

Question
I absolutely love Ohio State.BrightAccounting
I absolutely love Ohio State. There is no doubt in my mind that I attended the wrong college. However, I am constantly stressed out by the workload. Classes are extremely difficult and they move at a very fast pace. My biggest fear is not doing well and having to transfer out because of my grades. This school is the best and I would be so upset if I ever had to leave it.
