I think Reed is a mixed bag ofQuite BrightEnglish
I think Reed is a mixed bag of an experience. I went there because it called to me. I didn't want to go anywhere else. I ended up a bit disappointed, however, but that could have been personal. Should you choose to attend, Reed will be a very difficult place - not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. It gets pretty awkward at times, being a small school with lots of very intense people crammed together and forced to live, work, and learn next to each other for 4 years. I'm not sure if Reed was worth it, but if it calls to you as strongly as it does a lot of people, you should probably go because you'll always wonder what you missed out on if you don't. It does have its high points - everyone there is extremely intelligent and interesting, and to some extent the culture there really does promote free, critical thought and spontaneous expressions of spirit and intellect. The ideals behind Reed are wholly admirable, though they don't always work in practice. Proceed with caution, but once there give it all you've got. You will have moments when you regret you came, but you will also have those times when you know it wouldn't have been the same anywhere else.

I am really tired.Psychology
I am really tired. i am really tired because i spent the day riding around my town on a bike because i didn't need to struggle to work today because reed taught me how to work well enough that graduate school ain't no thang. well, that's not quite true. but it has made it manageable.but i have a lot of friends who were not interested in recieving an advanced degree, and i have to say that reed has not served them as well looking for a job right out of college. it teaches you how to be an academic, and that, well.

If you are a liberal arts major, it would be wise to acquire a practical skill while you are an undergrad, unless you are heading right off to grad school. I found a Reed education to be good preparation for law school.
