The thing that I love is that CMUSuper BrilliantMath
The thing that I love is that CMU has every type of person here, from the artsy to the physics genius. They help you explore and find what you really want. I thought I was going to major in business or economics, I ended up choosing Mathematics and Computational Finance. I can still change my mind and try to become an architect or an engineer, and CMU will help me accomplish this.

Question
Carnegie Mellon is a geek school, as amQuite BrightPhysics
Carnegie Mellon is a geek school, as am i probably a bit of a geek, but not enough to not bother me. If you are really into computers and hate microsoft then this school is right up your alley. The guy to girl ratio is about 3:2, which you should expect from a techy school. considering my major i felt the brunt of these odds. Carnegie Mellon is tops in edjucation, but if your a guy, take caution, especially if your planning on majoring in something very technical like computers, Physics, or math. Music and liberal arts arent gonna be as bad, but still, hot chicks are far and few between.

Question
Lots of critiques bout this school.Quite BrightArchitecture
Lots of critiques bout this school. for architecture, it was a decent school, especially because a lot of the professors were caring. architecture in general is a difficult major since it takes a lot of time and hardwork, and despite that, the teachers were understanding, knew most if not all of the kids by their first names, and a lot of resources were avaliable for architecture kids. in comparison, those who were in engineering or any other field seemed to HATE CMU. basically, its a very HARD school that makes you work REALLY hard, and the social life generally, well, sucks. the city, if you can call it that, is quite dead, but in the end, its all about the friends. find the right people, it will be fun. i guess the biggest plus about this school is that it has DIVERSITY. a lot of asians, basically. the highest percentage of asians in the east coast. which is good, if youre asian, or if you like them.
