Positive Negative Neutral Advice
I am a freshman and Phila U andBrightArchitecture
I am a freshman and Phila U and from my own experience this year, college is what you make it. This school is located in a nice suburb of the city, right next to a district called Manyunk. Manyunk offers a mile long strip of shops, restaurants, bars, and cafes. Besides the business, it is a town filled with college students. Parties galore, and they are better then your typical college party because you are somewhat familiar with the people around you. Its up to you to be open to new people and new things, and Phila U is the place to be if you are willing to do so. Although the school is smaller then I expected, I am challenged by my work load, excited for the parties to come, and happy with my choice to attend Phila U. Feel free to come visit, and stay over night, its a good time.Philadelphia University is an emerging university and is on its way to becoming an even bettter school. And I forgot, theres atleast a 75% girl to guy ratio.. and the girls are unbelievable.

Question
This school is not the school for youBrightPreMed and Medical
This school is not the school for you if you like to party and you get bored easily ro if your a black student and you want the whole black college experience-it just isnt there.

If you come vist this school and see that the campus is very unlively believe me it is like that all the time and wont get better!

Hi, I'm a freshman at Phila*U and a premed psych major. As of now I live on campus. I think this school is very beautiful, the campus is absolutely beautiful and pretty safe. Its really easy to get to my classes its about a 10 min. walk to main campus but if you ever are running late or you just dont feel like walking you can catch the Ramvan(the schools bussing system). This school seems to have a good science/pre-med/pa program and fashion/architecture/design program. My negatives about this school is the fact that they cater to the parents moreso then to the students its a really homely atmosphere and our homecoming really sucked! it was "family day" We dont have a football team which also sucks, our school doesnt have parties so you have to go to temple to party or into the city, so if ur brok which you probably will be in college partying will really break ur pockets. And on top of the no parties and quiet dull atmosphere and if your a black student and you want the whole black college experience this is not the place to be!There are no black sororities or fraternities and for me the experience just isnt there.

Question
I moved to this school from a largeQuite BrightEngineering Department
I moved to this school from a large city school. I missed the big city but fell in love with the surrounding area of this little school. It was less distracting and I got what I came for. I got my work done, made the grades and landed a job in the field I studied right after graduation.I found having a car helpful if you want to spend time in Philly and you do have to be careful when off of campus. Overall, it's what you make of it. We were a bit of a party school back in the time I went there and I wish I would have been more mature during that phase but I made great friends for life at PU and we all have great careers.
