The ability to study what I want andQuite BrightHistory/Histories (art history/etc.)
The ability to study what I want and not have to study what I do not want is the keystone of my Brown experience and that of others. The faculty is available to guide me in courses of independent study on topics which would only interest a few. Importantly, I can obtain credits toward my concentration (major) for these studies.

Question
I absolutely love it here.Quite BrightUndecided
I absolutely love it here. Don't be fooled by its lowish ranking compared to other Ivies (15th right?). We have the third happiest student body, the sixth lowest acceptance rate, an extremely high retention rate, and a variety of other great statistics. Our ranking goes down largely because we do not have a large graduate school (because the education is very undergrad-focused) and so we don't have a large endowment. Supposedly, the other reason our ranking is low is because we have large class sizes. I haven't experienced a problem with this though. I have two 15 person classes, two 40 person classes and one 150 person class (with a 20 person section).

Brown is a great place with great resources.Quite BrightPolitical Science
Brown is a great place with great resources.
The fact that Undergrad don't have any core courses really give us the chance to explore knowledge in the methods and ways we want.

I would recomand Brown for any one who is ready to explore without anyone telling him what to do.
The campus is very pretty, i love running around the main green.
Brown is better than most research universities for its undergraduate program. At Brown, We (undergrads) are the main focus of the campus not the grad students.I hope that my views are hepfull
