The greatest part about the university is theSuper BrilliantUndecided
The greatest part about the university is the extraordinary intelligence and talent of just about everyone, without an air of academic snobbery or pretention. You can find an intellectual community and engage in scholarly discourse when you want, but that is not everyone's agenda. Most people are here to share themselves and their varied perspectives with a sizzling and interesting campus.

Question
Brown is the best place on Earth.Quite BrightUndecided
Brown is the best place on Earth. The only problem is that one has to be motivated to do his or her own thing and not expect to be guided by the hand or pushed into things the way most students are pushed by their university or by their parents. If that would bother you, and it does bother a few people, then you are out of your depth. Otherwise, there's sooo much fun at Brown- you'll never be bored, you'll never be unchallenged; as long as you GO OUT and get what you're looking for. Sucks for you if you don't; but don't blame it on us.

Question
Brown is a wonderful environment for undergrad work--facultyQuite BrightSociology
Brown is a wonderful environment for undergrad work--faculty are inviting and want to get to know their students. Doors are always open. People are friendly and interesting and all quirky in fascinating ways. Providence is a beautiful town that can satisfy almost any interest, but also so near Boston that if you must get away, it's quite a simple task. The intellectual atmosphere here is incredibly focused on education and learning, not grades, not competition, but indivdual growth in each person's unique way. Brown grants ample opportunity for creativity and experimentation in intellectual, social, and extracurricular pursuits. I couldn't be happier!
