Positive Negative Neutral Advice
Students who fail to meet the SAP requirementQuite BrightCivil Engineering
Students who fail to meet the SAP requirement are notified the day before the intended disbursement. Then, they are told to wait for 30 days for approval. The approval is not a guarantee if there is a policy update. Normally, a warning issued to students a semester early is a common university policy, but UTA is silent on this matter.

Advice: Get a job and in the meanwhile, go to a local community college and get a drafting degree. If you know autocad 2d and 3d, then apply for an engineering technician position or a drafting position. Then, with enough money saved, go to a different school.

Question
The housing staff is very unprofessional.BrightChemistry
The housing staff is very unprofessional. They don't understand the lease terms and provide false information. They try their best to charge you by setting nonsense and brutal rules. If you are out of travel and can't get back to apartment on July 31 to check out, they will forfeit your deposit and charge you $50. They won't let your friend to check out on your behalf. If you want to move out early in summer, they will forfeit your deposit and you still have to pay for the remaining rents. It's absolutely ridiculous to forfeit your deposit even though you pay for full rents.

Question
UTA should have a better reputation.History/Histories (art history/etc.)
UTA should have a better reputation. I cannot express how wonderful my professors were. Sure, it is a big state school and you can feel "like a number" if you are not motivated. If you are motivated, my experience was that professors loved working with you and did all they could to help. 25 years later, I still keep in touch with some professors. How many people at other big state schools can say that?
