All around extremely poor customer service.Quite BrightOther
All around extremely poor customer service.
Poor selection of student body.
Staff and faculty play mind games, guilt trip, and become really rude and unhelpful when you make a complaint or comment about anything.

Atmosphere seems to be focused on money and doing anything to protect the university's image. The university experience was all about image and lacking in quality and substance. If you are uneducated about OBM or business management then you might not notice how poor the customer service truly is.

Question
Remember the cliche that true friends are hardNot so bright
Remember the cliche that true friends are hard to find. Don't try to make too many friends. I am now 38 years old. I was watching foresics files about a college student that had so many good and close friends. But some of us for many different reasons will have trouble making friends. I look back in the past and see more pain that pleasure making friends. I even asked why people hate me. And he said that it's hard to explain and can not put into words. If you don't want to wonder for the rest of your life why people hate and distrust for no good reason, limit your contact. And treat every conversation as a business meeting. They will take things way out of context. I listened to a speaker say you never know which student will end up rich and donate alot. Didn't realize how true that is. I am sometimes treated like some selfish idiot who'd never contribute anything. But my family donates and I spend alot of time helping people with studies and I've lent over $10,000 that I will never see again. I finally realize that friends really are not that important except when you need someone to talk to.

Question
The Architecture School is a great community.Quite BrightArchitecture
The Architecture School is a great community. It is easy to feel lost at such a big university so it was important to have the architecture school to call home. There are so many opportunities to get involved in just about anything, this University has a little bit of everything. And Austin is fantastic!
