“As an out of state student i wouldNot so bright
As an out of state student i would never recommend this school to anyone. I am transferring out as a sophomore, the school is horrible. the parties now blow and as for professors you would come across more that you strongly dislike than you would like especially in the COB program. prior to being here they make it seem like it amazing and they only make the school nice for choices week, other than that there is nothing so special at this school. parking here is a huge issue and i never recommend any one to spend the money to even try to be able to park. I have officially sworn off this school and hope that more people will recognize how awful it is and not be tricked by this completely deceiving school.

“JMU had always been my first choice.Quite Bright
JMU had always been my first choice. I visited and fell in love with the beautiful campus and seemingly friendly atmosphere. Once I saw JMU I knew it was the only school I wanted to go to so I didn't spend much time looking into other colleges. I MADE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. This place is awful, all the students are SO STUCK UP. They are closed minded and only care about getting shitfaced every night of the week and doing nothing with their lives. Oh and the faculty sucks too. My professors have no idea how to teach and will not help me understand the material (they don't respond to emails, etc) It's a hellhole here. I'm transferring and I just want to say I absolutely hate this excuse for a school. INCOMING STUDENTS - PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE AND DO NOT COME HERE. PLEASE. I'M TRYING TO HELP YOU.
