Well i suppose I shall hit the mainQuite BrightOther
Well i suppose I shall hit the main points here. I decided i wanted to go to school in Arlington, VA or Washington D.C. I decided to go to Marymount University out of pure randomness. All i wanted was a school in that area. Honestly the education is substandard. You can get the same education or better at a community college. The school seemed full of people that were still holding onto that high school lifestyle. The school itself is very small which will breed rumors and drama. I myself don't have time for that type of stuff. Basically if you are looking for a decent or better college experience don't go to Marymount. If you are looking to continue living in High School times with immaturity, excessive drinking, and constant back stabbing...you'll fit in at Marymount. I left that school half way through the year...only one semester was completed. Came back home which is in Florida and decided to go to my local community college in Daytona. I would recommend Daytona State College over Marymount University any day for the education. For the area...Marymount wins due to the convenient location.

Well just like any school Marymount has aBrightBiology
Well just like any school Marymount has a good and a bad. I came here honestly because I didn't want to go to any of the other schools I applied to. I have met some interesting people but this school feels more and more like a high school each and everyday to me. I'm a commuter student so I can't give you an opinion on the dorms or night life at the school but based on what I've read and heard at the school they try and provide some fun activities for the students at night but it's not the kind of fun the students wanted coming to college. People here smoke way too much. Before you even make it to a class in Gailhac you would've already caught lung cancer. Honestly I've made up my mind that I'm transferring because it's way too expensive and I feel as if I would have the kind of college experience I've always wanted somewhere else.

Don't get me wrong, some professors are quite nice, but I've had too many nightmare profs. Students are self-absorbed and groupy. On the outside the school is well kept and most of the maintenance staff are also quite friendly. However, my first semester here I lived in Butler and the ceiling had mold growing on it. I contacted maintenance and they gave me an attitude like I was supposed to have something to kill and clean it with it. I am transferring into my 2nd year as I feel unchallenged. The school isn't worth the money if you're paying most of the tuition. There are few clubs and starting one is near impossible. Campus safety is incredibly lax.
