UVM is a wonderful school to grow in and the majority of the professors are very knowledgable in their field, are fair in their grading and genuinely want the students to succeed.

Burlington is also a nice town. It is small and there is comfort in it being a safe place at night for women. The population is one that cares about the environment and is open minded to everyone. Very good people.

I went to the business school, which I find to be one of the best. Comparing my work to that of my friends from high school, I was certainly doing more. It was more in depth, but in a good way. Now in my job, I have a very good understanding of high level projects that others with a different education would not comprehend.

For the other departments, I had excellent experiences in the environmental/natural resource classes and will speak positively on their behalf. Now I am an accountant that will tell you about the forest and the health of the rivers. The field trips were outstanding in the mountains surrounding the school.

Imagine doing your homework in a quiet setting, amongst fun and caring people, while looking out over the mountains maybe during a beautiful sunset. The ideas flow at an incredible rate, and when youre done, you can have some fun on the town, or just in the dorm with good friends.Highly recommended!!

This school will try to drain every bitSuper Brilliant
This school will try to drain every bit of cash from you. I was charged over 200 dollars for a basketball I forgot to return, even though I did return it. 200 dollars is charged if someone doesn't physically give a basketball to the people at a desk which is literally right next to the basketball court. I called they said they had the basketball, which means I obviously didn't steal it, but they had to collect it themselves which is apparently 200 dollars worth of manual labor.

Besides that the classes are so easy. I didn't even go to class and aced all my tests easier than high school.

As stated in other reviews tons of hippies and self entitled white kids. if you are coming from NYC or any major city like me you will not like this. no diversity what so ever and a boring small town. If you are not a rich, white, drug and alcohol obsessed person this is not the school for you. I left after one year and am not looking back, do not come here!
