If you are looking to learn how toNot so brightEducation
If you are looking to learn how to become a hippie and you enjoy the taste of marijuana, this is the perfect place for you. However, if you care about your future and are looking to get a good education at a decent price, UVM is probably the worst place you could pick. Yeah, Burlington is gorgeous but the winters here are horrible and unless you have $50 to go snowboarding and skiing every weekend, there really isn't much to do. Except for bond with trashy hippies who don't know right from left.

Question
For the record I just wanted to sayNot so brightBusiness - Management and Administration
For the record I just wanted to say that I have been living in Vermont all of my life so I am pretty much used to the cold weather (for the most part). The school is amazing, and i don't know anyone who can't find a party Friday or Saturday night. All you have to do is walk around downtown and you'll see more than your share of parties that you can just walk into and get a cup if you want. There is a lot of weed but I can imagine any school you go to will have a lot of weed seeing as its college and usually peoples first time away from home... The business and art programs are amazing and i recommend them to anyone. The classes are small, teachers are amazing, and the kids are usually friendly (except for a few really competitive kids). The sports and extracurricular activities are awesome and you can play plenty of intermural sports if thats what you like to do. As for the weather, it does get cold. I'm actually transferring away from the school, but just because after 18 years I'm pretty sure I've had enough snow and want a change. I wish the temperature stayed above 40 all year and I would go here till i graduate. Overall its a great school and again, i recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Unless you are rich and stuck up and have the money to go snowboarding every weekend, DO NOT GO HERE. IT IS NOT WORTH THE OUT OF STATE MONEY...way too much money for a school filled with potheads and hippies. Burlington is cool at first but gets really old fast.
