This is a very nice school that willBrightUndecided
This is a very nice school that will provide you with a good education if you are willing to put up with bullshit classes. Some Professors know how to teach, others do not. The bad thing is that everyone up here is very introverted and just want to smoke cigarettes and get high after class. Thats fine and all but don't come here and expect to have an awesome experience unless you have a car or are willing to stick it out until you are an upperclassmen. I love the area but would rather come up during my breaks rather than be here during the academic year.

Question
Freshman dorms are beyond disgusting and so smallQuite BrightPolitical Science
Freshman dorms are beyond disgusting and so small you cant move. Lounge areas are filthy, old, and nowhere you would want to study or relax. Beyond nasty. Bathrooms are in same condition.

Vomit is profuse in hallways, stairwsells, showers, toilets, floors and remains there for the entire weekend.

Laundry facility also old, broken down and filthy. Only a few machines each dorm and are constantly broken and full of gum and debris.

Drug and alcohol use is the norm Thurs thru Sunday. If you dont get wasted you really dont have anything else to do unless you join some ranting freak groups pushing to ban water bottles or promote Communism.

The health care sucks. They don't listen to you and refuse to provide proper treatment. I have been sent away twice very ill. Once with pneumonia-once with mono, sinus, lung, & ear infections. Flew home. My doctor said it was a miracle my ear drum did not rupture and leave me deaf.

Minimal transport to ski area. Maybe 1 day a week. (Not what I was told) No out door activities other than sailing organized. Pretty lame unless you want to be drunk and stoned from days on end.

No surveillance cameras in dorm entrances. Crazy man was going in girl showers and taking pics of them. SWEAR! Drunken maniac busted out window in dorm. School charged students for it. Cared less if we were safe.

Transferring out of here. Counting the days to leave. Worse conditions than a prison.
