Positive Negative Neutral Advice
I agree, I went to talk to admissionsSuper BrilliantPreMed and Medical
I agree, I went to talk to admissions and they were pushy and started my financial assistance without my permission, and then asked me to take a 12 min test which was nothing but WORD PLAY!!!! I am very intelligent and I was told I failed. I do not believe this is a pass fail test they just want to take up your time and gas to see how bad you want to go to cc. I would not waste my time!!! GO to another school I did...

Question
I attended CU for one year, then transferedQuite BrightMusic - Composition/Theory
I attended CU for one year, then transfered out; the latter was the best move I ever made. The college I'm at currently isn't exactly heaven on earth, but NOTHING could be worse than CU. For starters the campus has been nicknamed "Little Harvard." They give ridiculous amounts of assignments, most of which are graded unfairly. Anyone who wants B's or higher needs to spend ridiculous amounts of time studying; and this is coming from someone who was a member of the National Honor Society. Second, I could understand handling the workload IF there was ANYTHING to do on campus. The campus and surrounding town are both horrible. Terrible. You will be bored to tears, guaranteed. Even the clubs are so closed up and have the "clique" mentality, so don't even think of socializing. The quality of classes and professors are hit and miss. Some of them are wonderful, others are attrocious. As for costs, they are ridiculous. I say this because I don't know where any of this money is going, as again I stress, there is NOTHING to do on this campus. I could name at least two dozen people from my year attended who either dropped out, or would eventually do so. To summarize, the academics are hit and miss, so its not a total waste. However if you're looking for recreation, opportunities to socilaize, or any sort of free time, CU is not for you.
