It's pretty easy to get into, you just haveJul 20 2016Computer Engineering
It's pretty easy to get into, you just have to meet the minimum requirements for the specific major. Barrett Honors College is more competitive and will require a higher GPA and SAT score.

Transferred from community collegeOct 18 2014Linguistics
Transferred from community college. If you graduated from high school, took some sort of standardized test, and generally maintain a body temperature of 97-98 degrees, I am sure you'll get in. ASU does have a direct transfer program with the local community colleges though, and they're far cheaper than ASU so I'd recommend that if you're being forced to attend this institution.

Besides the engineering and business schools, and the honor'sOct 26 2013Engineering Department
Besides the engineering and business schools, and the honor's college, anything you did in high school at least decent, along with an average SAT/ACT score will land you here just fine. I made it into the engineering school with about a 1200 on the SAT (2 parts), I believe an 1150 is about what they want you to have. Overall, it's really not hard to get into here. If you plan on doing engineering or business though don't slack off senior year of high school though.

Anyone can get into ASU---it's obviousDec 22 2011Math
Anyone can get into ASU---it's obvious. However, if you want to get into the business or engineering school the requirements are a bit tougher but still very easy. For Barrett, the Honors College, expect to have a profile that is similar to those people applying to schools in the top 50. That is, top 5-10% of HS graduating class, ~1800 at least on the SAT and decent community service and leadership experience should make you competitive for Barrett.
