It was a mistake. Stay away. You are much better off somewhere else, even at a community college.

For film, there is an interview you have to do. If you are a transfer, please keep in mind that you will have to stay more than 2 years.
In my opinion, look elsewhere. Montclair State is very unprofessional and angering. It?ll save you a lot of stress and tears.
Good luck!

They just made MSU "test optional" which means that if you graduated from high school, you can get in. If you are a decent student who plans to have a career doing something more than folding sweaters at the mall, go to another school.

MSU just dropped the test requirement, and say thatSep 29 2015Business - Management and Administration
MSU just dropped the test requirement, and say that it makes the school more competitive!? Don't believe it. The school is now open enrollment, which means everyone that graduated hs gets into MSU. I've heard many professors complain about how the student quality keeps going down every year. In my classes, students are lazy, and I can't even believe that half of them are in college.

Make this a last resort schoolJul 30 2015Unknown
Make this a last resort school. If you can go somewhere else that has everything you are looking for, is affordable, and you can see yourself at: GO THERE. If you do like Montclair and for some reason you can't go to this other school, than it's up to you if you want to attend MSU. I won't stop you from going there, if you really like the school and that's where you want to go, then go. I wish everyone the best of luck.
