Have a decent GPA and SAT/ACT score. My SATs weren't stellar, but I was in the top 10% of my class and had a lot of extracurriculars. Honors/AP courses also help. If you want a scholarship, be in the top 5% to 10% with a high SAT score (like 1300+). If you apply as a transfer, it's much, much easier to get in.

I applied for the nursing major early decision andNov 26 2014Nursing
I applied for the nursing major early decision and got accepted. I was pretty below the criteria (3.4 gpa, 22 act) but decided to apply anyways since I really loved the school. Even if you don't meet the criteria for a specific major, I'd recommend applying anyways. I think I got in because my essay was good and I had a decent amount of extracurriculars.

This school is way too hard to get intoFeb 06 2014Psychology
This school is way too hard to get into for the material learned and quality of teachers. They try to make their academics look too good and it doesn't work for them. Don't bother.

I had 80Nov 04 2013Music - Composition/Theory
I had 80 GPA and 1800 SAT. Not the best student or best test taker but I believe my essays were excellent and exactly "what they wanted."

I see people all over the boards, some have 2000 SAT and 4.0 GPAs (Usually the "Academy Students"), and some have 1200 SAT and still get in. Basically just have a decent GPA and/ or SAT. It really isnt that hard to get in, and if you arnt from the surrounding county, youre one step above 90% of the other students.

1200+ SATs, 26+ ACT, few AP classes, 95+Oct 24 2012Biology
1200+ SATs, 26+ ACT, few AP classes, 95+ GPA should do the trick if you want scholarships. Pretty sure as long as you have a pulse, you'll get into Ramapo though.
A lot of students transfered from BCCC and are paying cheaper tuition.
