I had a 3.2 GPA, was in NHS, captain of the cheer team for two years, part of Biology club, and volunteered 100+ hours at a hospital. It is also worth noting that I was originally waitlisted and I had applied to 13 nursing programs (including ones ranked higher) and this program was the only one I did not get direct entry into,

I recommend that students do their homework, ie. speak to other students that attended the school and check sites that rate the school and their level of commitment to the students. The surrounding area is not safe. There were various assault cases and homes were broke into near the campus. Do your due diligence, parents especially before you commit to a very expensive school.
