I studied hard , took courses to get high sat scores and did plenty of community service but I assure you it is not necessary to get into St Johns. Don't expect to much in the way of scholarship money that's allotted to the ones who don't give a shit and don't contribute in a positive way to the university. RUN RUN RUN AND DONT THINK TWICE!

I played a sport and had a scholarship, but I'm pretty sure your SAT scores can be below average. Anywhere around a 3.0 is probably good enough.. I think their application fee is free as well. Its really not difficult to get in, its more difficult to stay in because no one can/wants to pay for what they're getting.

To be perfectly honest, it's not difficult at all to get into this university. You don't need to be a straight A student to get in. I had a low B average in high school and not only did I get in but I was given a decent financial aid package to boot, which ultimately was the reason I came here...well that and the fact that it's in NYC (Queens to be exact but Manhattan is only a train ride away!).
