Major: (This Major's Salary over time)
richmond is an excellent school for people who want a sold academic program combined with decent social life on the weekends. students work real hard during the week, even though one can manage to get by without putting in too much effort. once thursday rolls around, most everyone is out partying in the dorms or in downtown richmond. i considered transferring my freshman year because of the segregated housing on campus, but this has changed this fall with guys and girls living on both sides of the lake. this change has made social interaction much easier and the school a lot less conservative. the school sponsors few entertaining events on campus, so much of the social scene revolves around frat parties, where students drink up all the free beer their bodies can consume. i enjoy richmond's small size, which gives the campus a sense of intimacy where one can walk anywhere and see someone they know. richmond is not for everyone, but if you like beer and a whole bunch of friendly white people from the northeast, then it's surely the place to be.
