The best input you can get is by looking for yourself. We are a great academic school. Don't expect to come here to slack off. You will work hard. Hay this is college right? You want to get your moneys worth. As far as the social atmosphere and things to do here, there isn't much. Downtown is pretty boring and Sac. doesn't have much either. You won't see cows roaming around campus. I guess the reason we were name cow-town, maybe due to being Berkely's former Agriculture school. Anyway, you won't see cows or chickens crossing the road.
