Grand Valley has its little idiosyncrasies, and some things about it are annoying - the short drop/add periods, the Gestapo (aka Public Safety), the textbooks that the profs choose are ridiculously expensive...but it's not a bad college overall. My program (Spanish), is an excellent program, and the education program here is very competitive. It's a great school for teachers (esp. secondary and special ed).
