Good grades may be obtained regardless of your effort: knowledge comes only through self-discipline and meticulous study. It is easy to do well at Georgetown by relying on your natural smarts--do not be deceived! Georgetown offers an excellent education for those willing to put in the time to learn. Also: learn about professors before you get stuck with them! I have discovered that the singlemost important factor in determining how much I like unfamiliar subject material is the professor. Fortunately, my experience with professors at Georgetown has been a mind-expanding venture.
